Mirai Day 6 Box Office Collection: A Midweek Dip, But Still Standing Strong
Teja Sajja’s sci-fi action film Mirai continues its theatrical run with decent numbers on Day 6. After a strong opening weekend and a solid start to the weekdays, the film has now begun to show the expected midweek slowdown — but it’s far from fading out.
On its sixth day in theatres, Mirai earned approximately ₹4.5 crore at the Indian box office. This takes its total domestic collection to around ₹61.5 crore in just six days. While this is a slight drop from the previous day, it’s still a respectable figure for a weekday, especially for a film in its debut week.

What’s more impressive is the film’s global performance. Within just five days, Mirai crossed the coveted ₹100 crore mark worldwide, making it one of the fastest Telugu films this year to achieve that milestone.

What’s Behind the Dip?
Let’s be clear — midweek dips are completely normal in the movie business. Most films make the bulk of their earnings during the first weekend, and then see a gradual decline as the weekdays roll in. Mirai is following that same trend.
The Tuesday-to-Wednesday drop is nothing alarming; rather, it reflects a settling pace. What matters more now is how the film performs during its second weekend. If it can pick up again with decent weekend numbers, it could enjoy a strong overall run.
Regional and Language Appeal
The film’s primary strength remains its performance in Telugu-speaking regions, where the buzz around Mirai has been strongest. The Hindi-dubbed version and other regional language releases have added to its overall numbers, but the core earnings are still coming from South India

With six days done, Mirai is now heading into a critical point — Day 7 will close out its first week. If it can maintain consistency and see another spike over the coming weekend, the film could comfortably sail past the ₹75–80 crore mark domestically by the end of Week 1.
