The Beekeeper Story
The film's story is about a school teacher named Eloise Parker (Minnie Driver) who befriends Adam Clay (Jason Statham), a tenant who lives in her garage. Clay is a member of the "Beekeepers", a former spy organization, and is currently living as a literal beekeeper. One day, Eloise becomes the victim of a phishing scam, and has over $2 million stolen from her, most of which belongs to the charitable organization she manages. Dejected, she commits suicide. Upon finding Eloise's body, her son, Verona Parker (Amy Raver-Lampman), an FBI agent, immediately arrests Clay. After Eloise's death is declared a suicide, Clay is released.
Clay is determined to avenge Eloise's death. He sets out to find the people behind the phishing scam and bring them to justice. On the way he comes across a secret conspiracy that threatens the country.
